BWS - Black/Winter/smashual

This 'smashual' look can be used for both casual and smart events, going out for dinners, work dos, nights out, or just feeling dapper for the day!

This gorgeous black fitted jacket can be found in most Zara stores for around £70! It's thick, warm fabrics allow both comfort and warmth to come into play whilst being a stylish must have for smartening up any outfit.

By adding a plain white shirt you are bringing a bold splash of colour to your outfit breaking up the black making it a perfect combination! For a more unique stiyle a bright coloured or patterned shirt would work equally as well.

Black rosche runs are worn here to contrast the smart, stylish look making it more of an edgy smashual style. I also own a pair of these and I can honestly say they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned!

TextileFederation

Textiles Federation is a new company to me. However the second I saw their products I had wished I'd never seen them! I don't think I have ever wanted to fill my wardrobe with a whole collection as much as I want to with this one!

Their bold use of block colours and vibrant graphical prints make these pieces so unique, quirky and stylish! (100% me) I love the way in which the dress prints are mirrored, I think this creates an amazing affect and makes the garments look even more eye catching!

All these dresses, leggings, and kimonos can be found on ASOS along with their prices and many other matching accessories!

Comment below and let me know of any reviews or new brands you'd like me to look at and do! X

Photo shoot of 2013

Thought I'd show you guys all of my creations from last year!

The first and last photographs are designs from my recycling project I created a paper mâché bodice with a a crunchy tutu affect skirt to create a dressmaker entirely out of news paper. For the second recycling garment I made a cadge skirt and created an arm knitted over lay to create both top and bottom.

The second photograph is my Bauhaus inspired waist coat, I decided to push the boundaries  abit by creating a waistcoat with a skirt and matching collar.

And the third picture is my 1960's/ Walk the line inspired garment I hand painted the skirt and top and made my vintage bubble gum pink jacket!

I love how each garment is so unique yet has a bit of my personality within them all. X

BBB - Boohoo/Black/Boots

Yesterday I made an emergency purchase! After recently turning 18 I've experience night life like never before! I'm a bit of a party animal. one you'll find constantly on the dance floor so when it comes to choosing a pair of killer heels for my night out I soon realised this was a BIG mistake!

I'm not the tallest of people so when I discovered these beautiful chunky boots from Boohoo I knew I had to buy them. For only £18.00 these spongy and easy to walk in heels are a steal to look show stoppingly gorgeous in boots that look a mile high when they're really not.

THIS WEEKS WARDROBE MUST HAVE! X
